Waiver or Modification of Requirements Under Section 1135 of the Social Security Act

The following table shows waivers and modifications of requirements authorized under Section 1135 of the Social Security Act in response to a variety of public health emergencies. Waivers or modification of requirements were issued for a variety of public health emergencies including wildfires, hurricanes, tropical storms, flooding, H1N1, and COVID-19.
