The Outstanding MRC Preparedness and Resilience Volunteer Recognition

John Jennings believes in supporting his community. In 2024, he devoted 244 hours to the Mobile Market, a key initiative offering free, fresh produce to 300 community members on Fridays and 460 community members on Saturdays. John is responsible for packing the Mobile Market truck and ensuring efficient distribution. At Mobile Market stops he assists with traffic control and data collection, as well as distributing fresh produce or menstrual kits. Additionally, John spent nine hours assembling fentanyl test kit strips for the State Health Department. The only time John isn't volunteering with the Oklahoma County MRC (OK) is when he's working with the Red Cross, showcasing his broader commitment to disaster response. John's positivity, reliability, and dedication make him an invaluable asset to Oklahoma County and a deserving recipient of the Outstanding MRC Preparedness and Resilience Volunteer Recognition.
